Libraries at the center of workforce recovery
There has always been a strong connection between libraries and the interests of the workforce. When the economy went into a downward spiral, people turned in increasing numbers to the library for help getting back on their feet. This topic validates the trends, collects resources for libraries to meet the needs, and shares stories of efforts and successes.
Project Compass is a related project, which is working with state libraries to build capacity for workforce development under an IMLS grant.
