COLFAX: LIBRARY DIRECTOR
Description/Responsibilities: The Board of Trustees of the Colfax-Perry Township Public Library seeks an innovative and energetic Director for its (township merged) library district of 1,466. Duties include oversight of all library operations including: budget and bookkeeping management, personnel management, current technology skills, and programming expertise. Colfax-Perry Township Public Library is located in the town of Colfax in eastern Clinton County. Re-dedicated in 2007, C-PTPL is a renovated and expanded Carnegie building (c.1916), which includes a Local History Museum. Candidate must have excellent supervisory and organizational skills, and leadership skills to coordinate good working relations among library staff, the Friends of the Library group, board of trustees, patrons, and community organizations. www.colfaxptpl.org

CONNERSVILLE: LIBRARY DIRECTOR
Description/Responsibilities: The Fayette County Public Library, serving a county-wide population of 24,000, is seeking an innovative and service-oriented, full-time director for its newly renovated library. Responsibilities include budget preparation and administration, policy development and implementation, staff supervision, management of the collections, program planning and public relations.

ELKHART: OUTREACH COORDINATOR
Description/Responsibilities: Elkhart Public Library, www.myepl.org, has an immediate opening for a full-time Outreach Coordinator. This position manages the personnel and operations of the Outreach Services division and acts as liaison for special populations. Elkhart Public Library serves a community of 90,000 with a Main library, four branches and two bookmobiles, with an annual budget of $6 million. Elkhart is located in northern Indiana, just east of South Bend, with easy access to Chicago via I-80.
Qualifications: MLS from an ALA-accredited library program with experience in public library services and a minimum of five years community outreach experience. Must maintain an Indiana chauffer’s license with a good driving record. Proficiency in Spanish language is an asset.
Salary: Annual salary from $38,000, depending on qualifications. Elkhart Public Library offers an excellent benefit package that includes 22 days vacation, 12 days sick leave, 3 days personal leave, and 10 paid holidays. Medical, vision, and dental insurances are available with 100% of the employee’s health and vision insurance premium and 50% of the employee’s dental insurance premium paid by EPL. LAFAYETTE: YOUTH SERVICES LIBRARIAN
Description/Responsibilities: The Tippecanoe County Public Library in Lafayette, Indiana is looking for a highly motivated Youth Services Librarian. MOUNT VERNON: HEAD OF ADULT SERVICES AND PROGRAMS
Description/Responsibilities: The Alexandrian Public Library has a full-time, professional position, responsible for the coordination, direction, and supervision of all aspects of adult information services and adult programming. Major responsibilities include collection development of the adult fiction, nonfiction, non-print media, reference, and periodical collections, and the Indiana Room genealogical collections; assisting library patrons in the use of the library, supervision of all adult reference and Indiana Room staff, including scheduling public service hours in these areas; development and coordination of adult programs and activities.
Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with an MLS from an ALA accredited program; two years of reference experience in a public library setting; two years supervisory experience in a public library setting. Minimum requirements include Librarian Certificate 3 (an ALA-accredited MLS degree or equivalent) from the Indiana Library and Historical Board as well as reference experience in a public library. Good working knowledge of popular fiction and nonfiction, experience working with the public and supervisory experience is preferred. Must have great customer service skills, excellent communication skills, be self motivated, able to work a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours, and be dependable and responsible.

ANGOLA: INFORMATION SERVICES LIBRARIAN
Description/Responsibilities: Trine University (http://www.trine.edu) seeks a dynamic and resourceful individual with teaching, technology, and collaboration skills to participate as a member of its leadership team in the development and delivery of innovative and quality services, particularly in the areas of preservation, digitization, archives, and special collections. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute in a wide range of information, instructional, and technology functions, work with great faculty and students, and to help a small academic library achieve its fullest potential. The Information Services Librarian plays an integral role in archive management, campus digitization, information literacy, faculty liaison, and marketing/outreach programs; manages a wide range of project activities using appropriate tools and techniques; provides leadership and innovation in planning, implementation, management and support; develops specifications and requirements within project scope and budget; shares in providing reference and instruction including night and weekend service, participates in collection development, audiovisual services, and course teaching responsibilities.
